Gluten-free New York restaurants

Plate of delicious pastaThere are certain things you just can’t find a gluten-free replacement for. But in New York, that number has been drastically reduced over the last few years. Here, you can find all of the ingredients to make it yourself or restaurants with gluten-free versions to satisfy your cravings.

CBS has a great article on the best gluten-free restaurants in NYC. I’ve only been to a few of them (highlighted), but can definitely vouch for those. Check them out below and then read the full article:

  • Risotteria
  • Bistango
  • Kesto Pizza & Vino
  • S’MAC
  • Lilli and Loo
  • Candle 79
  • Tu-Lu’s Gluten-Free Bakery
  • Rice to Riches

Happy eating!!!

Awesome alert

A typewriterSome super smart people with big hearts put together a peer-reviewed directory of more than 600,000 restaurants across the U.S. that includes menus (including gluten-free), allergen lists, certifications, nutritional info and more.

We need to invent some sort of award to properly thank people like this for service to the gluten-free community. (And all other people with allergies.) Maybe a giant gluten-free cookie? Or lifetime access to allergy-friendly pizza? Will have to think on this.

Anyway… here is the great Los Angeles Times article that brought the directory into my (and now your) life. Busy? Go straight to the good stuff.
